As part of a brief profile of Levy published by the New York Times today, the paper revealed a delightfully odd fact from the set of the new film: Tom Cruise paid a visit and helped shoot a scene.

When asked to tease the film, Levy said it will have “spectacle and scale, just like Stranger Things.” He added that Starfighter features spectacle and adventure “at a level... never done” in his career. But he said the movie will also be “anchored in a human-scale, character-sized story,” similar to Stranger Things.
