Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn provided an update on the knee injury she sustained after a crash in a downhill race merely a week before the 2026 Milan Cortina Games.

Lindsey Vonn crashed in her final downhill before the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics on Friday.

Vonn lost control landing a jump and became entangled in safety nets, receiving medical attention for five minutes before gingerly skiing to the finish line, visibly favoring her left knee.
