DK Metcalf is back from his two-game suspension, and there may actually be an unexpected silver lining to all of this. As frustrating and costly as the situation was, the time away gave Metcalf a chance to get his legs back under him at a critical point in the season.

Metcalf was back inside the Steelers' facility hours after their thrilling win over the Ravens that clinched the AFC North division title for Pittsburgh. While he said he was surprised that his suspension was upheld following his appeal, Metcalf declined to discuss what transpired between himself and the Lions fan.

The Steelers reportedly won't void guarantees in Metcalf's contract, but the issue could be revisited, and it's hardly a simple decision.
