cursor stuck in middle of the screen while i was on the computer the mouse jumped to the center of the screen and now it's frozen there. I can navigate around the computer using the keyboard, but the mouse is just stuck there. I've restarted it a few times and that doesn't help. The cordless mouse appears to be working fine.

Both shift keys do not work for the first 5-10 minutes after booting ...
So back to square one. If it is not any of the apps that are non-microsoft services, could it be a microsoft service? Maybe it is the hardware but, as mentioned, if the shift keys do not work, but then work after 5-10 minutes, and once they are working they work perfectly, that doesn't seem like a hardware issue.
